Finance Operations Specialist

Centime is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Finance Operations Specialist to support financial operations and help ensure accurate, efficient processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other finance-related activities.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and analytical skills, understands core accounting and finance processes, and is comfortable working with financial data and technology. This position will work closely with finance, customer success, operations, and other internal teams to maintain accurate records and support efficient financial workflows.

• Support daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payment activities.
• Review and process invoices, payment requests, and financial documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable activity, outstanding balances, and payment statuses.
• Assist with cash-flow reporting and financial data analysis.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with appropriate teams to resolve financial issues.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and operational summaries.
• Assist with transaction reviews and ensure financial information is entered accurately.
• Support month-end and year-end financial activities as assigned.
• Maintain organized electronic records and documentation.
• Work with internal teams to improve financial workflows and operational efficiency.
• Assist with customer and vendor account inquiries related to billing and payments.
• Follow established financial controls, procedures, and company policies.
• Protect confidential financial and customer information.
• Perform other finance and operational duties as assigned.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet applications.
• Experience working with accounting, ERP, financial management, or payment-processing software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience with fintech or SaaS platforms is a plus.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM ET

• Annual Salary: $72,000–$92,000
