Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Vaco LLC is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle hiring from first outreach through onboarding. Based in Birmingham, AL and working onsite on a full-time basis, this role partners closely with hiring leaders to build effective recruiting strategies, strengthen talent pipelines, and improve the candidate experience. The compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefits. Role responsibilities Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through onboarding. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies. Attract high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter , networking, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach. Conduct screenings, interviews, and candidate evaluations. Coordinate interviews and facilitate the offer process. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Track recruiting metrics and provide market insights to hiring leaders. Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and company hiring policies. Support employer branding initiatives and help enhance the candidate experience. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of corporate recruiting or talent acquisition experience. Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Strong sourcing and networking skills. Experience recruiting for professional, corporate, or technical positions. Proficiency with ATS platforms , LinkedIn Recruiter , and recruiting technologies. Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Preferred experience Experience partnering with executive leadership and hiring managers. Background supporting high-growth or multi-location organizations. Strong understanding of recruiting analytics and workforce planning.
