Dental hygienist

Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and vital signs.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
Take and interpret dental x-rays (panoramic, periapical, bitewing) using advanced imaging techniques.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for accurate patient documentation and record keeping.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and assist with disinfection procedures.
Support the dental team with four-handed dentistry and chairside assistance.
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to optimize care experiences.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, biological hazard response, and office standards.
Provide patient counseling and education to promote ongoing oral health.

part-time $55 - $60 per hour

Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM lunch)
Expected Hours: 28 – 32 per week

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license (California)
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Proficiency in:
Panoramic imaging & panoramic x-ray
Oral hygiene instruction
Dental scaling, tooth polishing, periodontal maintenance, root planing
Patient assessment and vital sign documentation
Disinfection procedures & infectious disease control
Four-handed dentistry
Periapical, bitewing, and bisecting angle radiography techniques
Biological hazard response and safety protocol adherence
Entry-level candidates welcome; must be committed to professional growth and patient care

• Eaglesoft

Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
Local anesthesia certification preferred
