TMH is a private nonprofit system serving 21 counties, with a 772‑bed hospital and various specialty programs, including a Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and neonatal intensive care. Job Overview The Human Resources Assistant performs clerical functions in personnel/payroll administration, supporting client requirements across multiple accounts. General Responsibilities Compile and maintain personnel records. Process applications. Distribute and respond to questions regarding benefit forms. Schedule interviews. Compute wages and record payroll information. Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports/letters. Examine employee files to answer inquiries. Provide information to authorized personnel. Perform payroll‑related functions as needed. Comply with all safety and risk management policies and procedures. Participate in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments. Report all accidents and injuries promptly. Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Reporting Reports to: Director of Environmental Services; no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (preferred).
