Registered Nurse - Neuro-Progressive / Stepdown / ICU

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU settings. This role requires a comprehensive background in a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation and competency in neuro-specific nursing practices. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Epic EMR system and committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within Neuro-Progressive and Stepdown units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete Neuro-Progressive competency exams and maintain skills checklist.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including dress code requirements.

Schedule / Shift

This position operates on a 7A - 7:30P schedule, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience in Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU nursing.
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation experience is required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Completion of a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer.
• Current RN license valid in the state of practice.
