The Velvet Note , Georgia’s premier award-winning jazz club and intimate listening room in Alpharetta, is seeking an Experienced Lead Bartender to join our hospitality team immediately.
Our 40-seat listening room pairs top-tier live music performance with elevated spirits, fine wines, and fresh food pairings created in-house by Chef Marcus Todd Fitzpatrick. We pride ourselves on creating a living-room-comfortable atmosphere with world-class hospitality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Solid background in craft cocktail preparation, fine wine service, and running a clean, swift service bar in an upscale setting.
- Acoustic Courtesy: Speed and efficiency behind the bar executed quietly so as not to disrupt live performances.
- Guest Connection: A warm, polished host personality comfortable engaging sophisticated music patrons.
- Team-First Versatility: You must be willing to step outside the bar to serve tables and support floor responsibilities as needed. In a 40-seat venue, seamless cross-functionality keeps our operation running smoothly.
Shift Details & Schedule:
- Operating Schedule: Thursday evenings (6:30 PM–Midnight), Friday & Saturday double-show sets (7:30 PM & 9:30 PM showtimes), and Sunday evenings (7:00 PM & 9:00 PM showtimes).
- Location: 4075 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta, GA (Brookside Commons).
