Make a meaningful difference for students by providing vital support as a School Social Worker for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this position, you’ll use your expertise to help individuals and families navigate challenges, advocate for student well-being, and foster a positive school environment. This is a full-time contract opportunity (37.5 hours per week) beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid School Social Worker certification or state licensure
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably within K-12 schools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, faculty, and community partners
• Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized intervention plans
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral strategies, and social-emotional learning frameworks
• Commitment to confidentiality, equity, and student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students, addressing a variety of needs
• Consult with teachers and administration to identify and address barriers to student learning and engagement
• Support families in accessing resources and navigating community services
• Participate in student support teams, problem-solving meetings, and IEP meetings as needed
• Provide crisis intervention services and guidance regarding trauma-informed practices
• Promote a safe and inclusive school culture through workshops, parent outreach, and staff training efforts
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all guidelines and school policies
