Make a meaningful impact supporting students in the Clarks Summit area as a school social worker for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity will have you working in a collaborative, supportive environment where you can provide direct services, advocacy, and emotional support for students. The contract is set to run from as soon as possible through June 2027, with full-time, Monday through Friday schedules available (35-37.5 hours per week).

As part of a team of three, you will work with K-4 caseloads. Assignments will include working with elementary-age students (some positions focus on K-2, while another is K-12), supporting their emotional, social, and behavioral needs within the school setting.

Key qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid School Social Worker license (not just a standard Social Worker license)
• Previous experience working in school settings or with K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for making a positive difference in students’ lives

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to state and district guidelines
