CNA / Nurse Assistant - Travel/Contract - Seward, AK

Profession: CNA/Nursing Assistant Location: Seward, AK Job Type (Per Diem/Travel Contract): Travel/Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $33/hr Shift: Night Duration: 13 weeks Experience Required: 2 yrs CNA experience License Required: AK CNA Certifications Required: BLS First-timers accepted: No Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Safely transfer and reposition residents using appropriate equipment and body mechanics. Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other observations. Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Support residents with mobility, exercise, and restorative care programs. Promote infection prevention and follow all safety protocols. Provide compassionate emotional support while preserving resident dignity and privacy. Assist with meal service, hydration, and daily comfort measures. Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care. Requirements Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association preferred). Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, repositioning, and prolonged standing. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or nursing home experience. Experience caring for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
