Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour | Higher compensation may be offered based on relevant experience and skills

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements: Previous operational experience in the air freight industry required, including experience with: Warehousing, Airlines Ground Handling Agents (GHA), Freight Forwarding, Air Export Gateway Operations. Strong knowledge of air export procedures and documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, and collaborate effectively. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as email and internet-based systems. Good knowledge of international geography, including countries and major cities. Knowledge of Pharma, Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductor (Semicon), and other specialized logistics sectors is a plus. Basic GxP awareness and understanding of applicable guidelines such as WHO GDP, EU GDP, and related quality standards.

Job Duties: Process Master Air Waybill (MAWB) consolidations for assigned trade lanes. Manage all aspects of the Air Transport Association (ATA) export process. Prepare, handle, and process all documentation required for air export consolidations. Collaborate closely with regional air export departments to ensure smooth operations. Arrange carrier bookings and optimize cargo consolidation opportunities. Coordinate timely shipment processing and delivery to airports. Maintain continuous communication with warehouse teams and truck dispatch throughout the consolidation process. Track and trace shipments to ensure timely movement and delivery. Monitor vendor performance and resolve service issues or irregularities. Update, maintain, and monitor operational reporting tools on a daily basis. Support the pricing team by providing rate quote assistance. Adhere to healthcare logistics guidelines and Global Quality Health Chain requirements. Coordinate and support quality initiatives related to SecureChain and Semiconductor (Semicon) products.
