Location: Midland
Reports to: Base Operations Manager
Position Type: Non‐Exempt
Travel: Moderate (15%–35%)
Lifting Requirement: ~35 lbs.

Summary

The Warehouse & Procurement Coordinator is responsible for purchasing, inventory control, and materials planning to ensure equipment readiness and reduce operational downtime. This role manages the procurement, receipt, storage, and issuance of parts, tools, and materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and cost control. The Coordinator supports job preparation, equipment staging, and loading for field operations. The position also conducts cycle counts, reconciles inventory, analyzes usage trends, and works with management to forecast material needs and set reorder levels. All work must follow company purchasing procedures, inventory controls, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform purchasing and procurement activities, including sourcing, obtaining three quotes, establishing price lists, and creating purchase orders.
• Manage the approved vendor list.
• Receive, inspect, and store materials, parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in NetSuite for all receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Enforce inventory control procedures—no inventory leaves the warehouse without signed paperwork.
• Manage inventory levels, reorder points, and material availability.
• Coordinate with operations on job requirements and material forecasting.
• Handle shipping, receiving, pickups, and vendor coordination.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with reconciliation of physical inventory to system records.
• Stage and load materials and equipment for field operations according to ERFs.
• Identify improvements in inventory flow, cost control, and waste reduction.
• Read parts lists and technical documentation to ensure correct material selection.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other inventory and procurement duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible, long, or irregular hours.

Preferred Skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills; able to prepare reports and communicate with management and customers.
• Working knowledge of inventory tracking, stock levels, reordering processes, and material flow for field and shop operations.
• Ability to read and write English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work under stress in a fast‐paced environment.
