About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Construction to provide strategic leadership and ensure the successful delivery of construction projects across multi-family, high-rise, and commercial portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project delivery excellence, managing budgets and schedules, and upholding quality, safety, and client satisfaction standards. This role demands a seasoned project executive with a proven track record in large-scale, complex developments, and the ability to lead senior project teams, make critical decisions, and manage risk. The VP of Construction will also be tasked with establishing and enforcing safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance standards, as well as leading a high-performing team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of progressive construction experience, with at least 5 years' in senior leadership or project executive roles. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or industry certification. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of construction methods, experience in preconstruction, value engineering, and strong financial and commercial acumen. Leadership, team-building, and talent development skills are essential, as is the ability to effectively communicate and manage stakeholders. The role also requires a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with OSHA or equivalent certifications being preferred.
