Medical Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46804 Duration: 30-60 Day Contract Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Pay Rate: $18.00-$21.00/hour Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to support a busy healthcare office in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients while providing administrative and front-office support to ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility Answer incoming phone calls and process incoming/outgoing faxes Manage referral intake and coordinate documentation as needed Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records Provide general administrative and clerical support to office staff Assist with scheduling and patient communication as required Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for patients and visitors Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years of medical office, healthcare administration, or related experience preferred Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems strongly preferred Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Judge Group
