Automotive Service Manager

Job Summary We are looking for an Experienced Service Manager to lead one of our growing service department at Kelly Nissan of Woburn! The right candidate has a strong background in service management and customer service. The day-to-day duties of this role include maintaining strong relationships with customers, crafting goals for the department, and staying up to date on new product features. Compensation $140,000 - $190,000 based on experience and performance Weekly Salary plus monthly bonuses based on department performance Benefits Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical and Dental on Day 1 of Employment 401K after 90 days Paid Time Off Paid Sick Time Paid Vacation Time Paid Training Responsibilities Manage employee schedules and pay plans Forecast goals and objectives for the department and employees Attend manager meetings and conduct service department meetings Prepare and administer an annual business plan for the service department Maintain technician proficiency Partner with technical schools to recruit technicians Partner with Nissanand other third party vendors Handle and resolve customer complaints Motivate, train, develop and reward employees Provide and maintain a safe work place and environment for employees and customers Strong customer service skills are a must Must be able to manage a team, motivate and develop Experience with CDK preferred but not required Proven track record to grow the fixed operation business through excellent CSI, advertising, managing utilization and proficiency of the shop Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test) Stay up to date on new products, features, accessories and attending product training as required Maintain a service customer follow up system that supports repeat and referral business and contributes to customer happiness Hire and supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitor their performance in servicing customers Craft goals and objectives for the department, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience as a service manager Strong focus on providing excellent customer service High school diploma or higher education Clean driving record & valid driver's license Driven personality, eager to improve and able to work within and support internal teams About Us The Kelly Automotive Group is a family owned and operated dealership group that was founded in 1965.
