IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.**Responsibilities:*** Oversee the preparation and documentation of logistics materials, including spares, tools, and equipment.* Manage the shipping and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.* Maintain and analyze records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.* Optimize the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.* Ensure compliance with import/export requirements.* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.* Provide mentorship and guidance to Logistics Specialist I. **Qualifications You Must Have:*** High school diploma or GED equivalent.* 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* In-depth knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.* Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.* Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.* Experience with inventory databases.* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance **Qualifications We Prefer:*** Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.* Advanced proficiency in logistics software and tools.* Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems* HazMat Training/Certification.* Ability to operate a forklift.* Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.* Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.* Understanding of shelf life.* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military. **Essential Functions:*** Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.* Ability to work on your feet for a majority of the work shift.* Ability to work in a loud environment.* Ability to travel as needed.* Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
