Overview
Registered Nurse — Med Surg Tele in Massena, NY. Start date: 06/22/2026. Travel - Temporary Assignment for Weeks. Shift: 4x12 Days. Weekly pay: $2,382–$2,603 per week. No guaranteed hours. Setting: Critical Access Hospital with a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care for adults and geriatric patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and manage dysrhythmias; respond to changes in patient status
- Establish and maintain IV access (including PICC and central lines) and administer medications and blood products as ordered
- Support respiratory needs with oxygen therapy and devices (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC) as appropriate
- Collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth patient flow
- Adhere to rapid response and code procedures, infection control protocols, and isolation precautions as indicated

Requirements
- Current New York RN license (in hand to submit)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic charting experience
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg tele- or similar adult geriatric-focused nursing experience; travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Ability to work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit with telemetry monitoring, IV/equipment management, and rapid clinical decision-making
- RTO/submittal: cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of pre-approved time off; verify distance rules with the account manager prior to submittal
- Location/distance: candidates must reside more than 50 miles away from the assignment location; some postings indicate no applicants within 75 miles; confirm with the account manager
