Title
Registered Nurse - Med-Surg / Telemetry

Schedule
- Shift Ratios: Days 1:6; Nights 1:7; Weekends 1:8
- Weekend coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Orientation: 12 hours

Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Travel experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a med-surg/telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and blood products as prescribed.
- Perform IV starts and maintain peripheral IVs, PICC, and central lines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient rehabilitation and care.
- Implement isolation precautions and utilize PPE as needed.
- Engage in rapid response situations as part of patient safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- NY RN license required and must be active/in-hand for submission.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 day (per contract).
