Work Environment Located in the heart of Goshen, NY, our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and spacious treatment areas. This onsite position allows for real-time collaboration with colleagues and easy access to resources necessary for effective patient care. You will enjoy a Monday through Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while providing crucial support to your patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical needs and potential challenges, resulting in the development of personalized treatment plans. Manage a manageable daily caseload of approximately 7 patients, ensuring each individual receives focused and specialized care tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs. Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patient recovery and overall functional living. Guide patients in understanding their rehabilitation exercises, emphasizing the importance of adherence to their treatment plan for optimal outcomes. Track and document patient progress in accordance with organizational policies, providing timely updates and adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Engage in collaborative team meetings, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to enhanced patient care and outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our team serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. We encompass a holistic approach to rehabilitation, considering not only the physical aspects of healing but also the emotional and psychological needs inherent in the recovery process. Your role will be critical in empowering patients and instilling confidence as they navigate their rehabilitation journeys. Qualifications A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New York State is mandatory. A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred. At least 2 years of practical experience within an outpatient setting is essential to ensure readiness for the challenges of this role. Preferred Experience Experience working specifically within orthopedic rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with therapeutic protocols related to sports medicine and post-operative recovery is advantageous. Previous involvement in patient education and community outreach programs is a plus.
