Provide strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board and other management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance. Essential Job Functions Direct the development of regional strategic and business plans consistent with the established mission, vision, core values and strategic plan of the organization to ensure appropriate execution Spearhead the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan Provide direction and collaborate with division leaders to develop annual budgets and provide budget management oversight to control costs and minimize operational losses Evaluate need and recommend opportunities for business development and expansion in the assigned region(s) Provide leadership to ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve corporate and regional goals, regulatory compliance, and adherence to corporate and regional policies Exhibit highest standard of ethical business practices and enforce same within organization Human Resource management Provide strategic direction and leadership that enables a high performance culture that emphasizes quality, empowerment, productivity and efficiency, best in class practices, standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and on-going development of an exceptional workforce Areas of focus: Recruitment and on-boarding of company and project staff Employee training and development Policy development and documentation Employee relations Performance management and improvement systems Corporate governance, including regulatory compliance and reporting requirements Lead company-wide committee facilitation such as planning, production, staff and Board of Directors, including meetings and agenda coordination & reporting Sales & Marketing management Establish regional sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volume & profit for existing and new products Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans Manage end user and EPC approvals Develop and manage key client relations Enhance company image and brand by supporting public relations efforts and collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees Provide recommendations regarding investments and cash strategies Oversee preparation of annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit Provide vision regarding overall financial health of the company Provide vision and leadership in long - range fiscal planning to ensure the continuity and solvency of the company Provide recommendations regarding effective utilization of long and short term debt, including refinancing and purchasing/sales Education and Experience Requirements HS diploma and 20+ years flow control related industry work experience, or Associates degree and 18+ years flow control related industry work experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years flow control related industry work experience, or Master's (MBA) degree preferred and 8-12 years flow control related industry work experience EMBA training experience helpful Minimum 10 years of experience in business management, planning and financial oversight in flow control related industry Minimum of at least 5 years of experience with human resource management (i.e. recruitment, employee supervision, performance evaluation and benefits administration) Minimum 5 years of experience working with a board of directors and committees Other Skills/Abilities Proven skills in business and financial management Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, manage, motivate and develop staff Effective skills in problem solving and driving results Demonstrated ability to share knowledge and skills with others Possess the ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations Leadership capability to create a vision for team success Ability to foster collaborative teamwork Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines Above average facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills Excellent judgment and discretion Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office software – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word Travel flexibility to address customer related needs outside of normal office hours, including regular domestic travel and occasional international travel Personal transportation to travel to and meet with customers #J-18808-Ljbffr Neway Valve
