The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator I will be responsible for preparing and shipping goods to customers and vendors, preparing records of goods shipped, make up bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges, and keeping accurate and up-to-date files of shipping records. Available shift: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

• Ship and package product
• Receive and inspect raw materials and shop supplies
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
• Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
• Accurately records and reports hours worked
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
• Participate in required company meetings
• Maintain an organized work area (5S)
• Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
• Complete all other work duties as assigned
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to operate shipping receiving and machining equipment
• Ability to cross train in other areas of production
• Ability to occasionally: lift 10-50lbs, carry 10-50lbs and to stand, bend and stoop
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Desired Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Fork Truck Certification

Pay Range

USD $19.86 - USD $27.84 /Hr.

Pay Range Details: This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. Offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
