Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for Med Surg patients according to established standards, the nursing process, and clinical best practices
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and promptly identify and respond to adverse effects orchanges in patient condition
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; document patient progress clearly and accurately
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate care
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical policies; assess and reassess patient goals and discharge planning
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and strong communication to support patient and family education

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Med Surg nursing experience preferred; travel experience a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and work in a hospital setting
