Commercial Insurance Account Manager

About the Role: The Account Manager will provide key day‑to‑day support to our clients across multiple functions, including account servicing, billing, documentation, and problem‑solving. They will generally work closely with 1‑2 Account Executives, a Client Service Representative, and producers to support a book of business. The ideal candidate is interested in a long‑term career in insurance. They should have appetite and motivation to learn about coverage, develop relationships with clients and underwriters, and add value to their team and clients. RBN’s clients have wide ranging needs; we value people who work well with structure but can also work flexibly to solve problems, adjust to changes in priorities, and learn adaptively. Responsibilities to Include: Work with producer, account executive, and other team members to provide thoughtful and helpful advice to clients with respect to their insurance needs Respond to client inquiries and requests with prompt, friendly, personal service Review policies / endorsements / other policy documents Prepare submissions, loss summaries, exposure schedules, insurance proposals, and other deliverables Maintain detailed and accurate records of client correspondence and insurance policy changes in agency management system (Applied Epic) Manage account billing and obtain premium finance quotes as needed Request endorsements and policy changes from carriers Work with clients to ensure compliance with contractual insurance requirements Other duties as assigned Skills: Excellent communication skills and friendly, positive attitude Preferred 3-5+ years of relevant experience. Will consider recent college graduates with strong academic track record and internship experience. Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency with Applied Epic software is strongly preferred Familiarity with insurance carrier service portals is preferred Bachelors’ degree preferred Salary commensurate with experience.
