Family Nurse Practitioner

An independently owned primary care practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a full-time outpatient family medicine role built around a genuine four-day workweek - Monday through Thursday, three-day weekends every week, no rounding, no inpatient duties, no overnight call. This is a whole-person, patient-centered practice with integrated behavioral health, chiropractic care, a registered dietitian, and an in-house lab - where new graduates are actively welcomed and experienced providers are given the room and support to build something lasting. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries across the lifespan Manage chronic medical conditions with a longitudinal, relationship-based approach Perform comprehensive physical exams and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits Provide preventive care and men's and women's health evaluations Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications per Missouri state law Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention Coordinate care with specialists and community resources Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on quality improvement Qualifications Active Missouri APRN license or eligibility to obtain FNP certification (AANP or ANCC) required DEA registration or ability to obtain BLS certification required Family medicine or primary care experience preferred New graduates welcome - mentorship and collaborative onboarding provided Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team-oriented attitude Schedule & Compensation $115,000-$140,000/year + productivity and performance incentives Signing bonus + relocation assistance (if applicable) Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts | Monday-Thursday Outpatient only | On-site Cape Girardeau, MO Medical, dental, vision | Life insurance | 401(k) with matching PTO + paid holidays | CEU allowance | Paid licensure & DEA renewal Professional membership reimbursement | Malpractice covered Immediate hire #J-18808-Ljbffr
