ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Hampton, VA. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support 3rd–5th grade students in an inclusion or adaptive curriculum setting while working alongside a collaborative educational team focused on student growth, independence, and success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Starting ASAP

• 3rd–5th Grade Caseload

• 2026–2027 School Year

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License with an endorsement appropriate for the assigned Inclusion or Adaptive Curriculum setting required

• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Virginia state standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs

• Support students in inclusion and/or adaptive curriculum settings

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Implement appropriate academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
