Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic illness, both in the facility and through home care settings.
• Establish comprehensive treatment plans using advanced modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Tailor individualized treatment strategies aimed at helping patients achieve their therapeutic goals and enhance mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, self-care, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, sharing insights and strategies for optimal recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and staying current with clinical literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve working predominantly with a varied patient demographic, including children, adults, and the elderly, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. You will be tasked with delivering specialized care that considers the specific personal and medical histories of clients, assisting them through individualized therapy plans that respect their conditions and support their recovery actively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State license for Physical Therapy in Florida is mandatory.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
