Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, such as exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions that are goal-oriented, enabling patients to regain maximum physical function and independence.
• Regularly tracking patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educating patients and their families on self-care strategies, including the proper use of assistive devices to improve mobility and quality of life.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. You will have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to seniors, each with unique needs and goals. Your expertise will be vital in helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensing in Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
• A highly flexible, adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
