Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the clients' orthopedic conditions, following structured diagnostic protocols to develop individualized treatment plans focused on their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatments aimed at relieving pain, restoring function, and enhancing mobility, while routinely adjusting therapy plans based on client progress and feedback.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they implement treatment strategies effectively, maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• Conduct functional evaluations and utilize physical agents (e.g., traction, ultrasound, manual therapy) to address specific musculoskeletal issues.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration through case conferences, contributing insights about patient care and rehabilitation goals to the healthcare team.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain comprehensive care continuity.
• Instruct clients and families on at-home exercise regimens and the correct use of adaptive devices to support their ongoing recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients of varying ages and backgrounds, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clients are often seeking to regain the mobility and independence necessary for their day-to-day activities. Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

Next Step Physical Therapy & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
