Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Punta Gorda location, you will work onsite in a vibrant and conducive environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment and technology, supporting a diverse range of therapies suitable for outpatient settings. The standard work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care to patients by assessing their individual rehabilitation needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure high-quality attention and care for each patient.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of conditions, implementing both manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Apply cost-effective treatment methods that prioritize patient progression and mobility improvements while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Incorporate diverse treatment techniques into care plans, adapting approaches based on patient feedback and progress.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs aligned with patients' recovery goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and educate patients on self-care strategies to enhance their recovery journey.
• Motivate patients, encouraging engagement and adherence to their rehabilitation plans, thereby fostering a positive healing environment.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive patient care, encompassing all aspects of rehabilitation.
• Continuously evaluate therapy effectiveness and document patient progress meticulously, using EMR software for accurate and efficient record-keeping.

Our facility caters to a diverse population of patients, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals rehabilitating from surgeries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to practice as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated success and proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficient in using EMR software, specifically Web PT, for efficient documentation purposes.
• A strong theoretical and practical understanding of current physical therapy trends and techniques supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly within sports medicine or rehabilitation facilities.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills that foster rapport with patients, encouraging a trusting and motivating therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
