Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations as referred by physicians.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote optimal recovery.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about physical therapy processes, injury prevention, and home exercise programs to foster independence in managing their health.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in emergency situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and patient management.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to build relationships and support patients on their journey to recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating a varied patient demographic, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Background in utilizing evidence-based protocols and integrating research into clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits
