Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, performing detailed assessments, and documenting results to formulate effective intervention plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans clearly with patients and their families to foster shared decision-making and goal-setting.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on each patient's specific needs and progress, adapting procedures as necessary according to their response.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care, recognizing changes in patient conditions or progress that require adjustments to treatment plans.
• Effectively manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring all documentation is accurate, timely, and reflective of each patient's treatment journey.
• Maintain high productivity levels by managing your schedule efficiently, participating in marketing initiatives, and contributing to team goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and educational activities, including mentorship and instruction for students in clinical placements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient clients who have various rehabilitation needs. This may include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient will allow you to customize treatment plans that prioritize their goals and expedite recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential.

Preferred Experience
