Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, integrating assessments from multi-disciplinary team members when necessary.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that outline specific goals and interventions; examples may include therapeutic exercises aimed at strengthening, flexibility routines to enhance range of motion, and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain.
• Administer various hands-on therapy interventions while educating patients about their conditions and the therapy processes; assistive modalities may include ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy as deemed appropriate.
• Instruct patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, focusing on injury prevention techniques and lifestyle modifications to reinforce progress made during therapy sessions.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with recovery goals, ensuring documentation of progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing overall health outcomes.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new techniques and knowledge into patient care for continual improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic ranges from individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries to those with chronic conditions requiring ongoing management. Our physical therapists focus on building relationships with patients, understanding their unique recovery journeys, and providing motivational support throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or related fields, demonstrating a solid clinical foundation in outpatient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a range of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques tailored to outpatient settings.
• Previous involvement in multi-disciplinary team-based care, contributing insights and strategies for complex patient cases.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
