Work Environment

At Fit Living Physical Therapy, you will work onsite in a collaborative and innovative rehabilitation facility. Our team comprises skilled professionals who are passionate about their work and dedicated to creating a positive, healing environment. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their medical history, current health status, and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements, using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and exercises to aid in pain management and mobility restoration while emphasizing non-invasive treatment options.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to foster ongoing health improvements.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing collaboration among healthcare providers.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest therapy techniques and modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population including athletes and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions such as arthritis. Your role will necessitate a strong focus on orthopedic outpatient care to help patients of all ages regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no history of sanctions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to design and implement successful therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.
• Deep understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices, supported by research and clinical evidence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, showcasing a solid grasp of common rehabilitation protocols.
• A track record of successfully developing patient-centered care plans that cater to various therapeutic needs.
• Proficiency in integrating wellness programs that promote long-term health benefits for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
