Licensed Physical Therapist - Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist

This full-time position will primarily focus on orthopedic rehabilitation within an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will assess various movement dysfunctions, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted interventions aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing mobility, and restoring functional capabilities to our patients.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, designed specifically to foster an effective therapeutic experience. The facility is equipped with advanced therapy equipment and technologies, promoting a safe and supportive environment where practitioners can focus on rehabilitation and recovery. Our team operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while catering to our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify movement disorders and assess physical function.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies based on individual assessments, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for patient care and billing, adhering to clinic guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Achieve clinical productivity benchmarks while continuously enhancing professional knowledge through training and professional development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development efforts that elevate service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and assist in maintaining equipment used for physical therapy activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping a diverse demographic, which includes active adults and athletes, return to their normal routines and regain their strength and mobility. Establishing a strong rapport with clients will be key to driving their engagement in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a master's or doctorate degree is preferred.
• Current and active Physical Therapy license in Florida (or eligibility for licensure).
• Demonstrated passion for high-quality patient care and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with the WebPT electronic medical records (EMR) system would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of hands-on experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, with specific knowledge of orthopedic therapies and rehabilitation techniques. Experience managing a varied patient load and familiarity with performance metrics in a clinical environment will contribute to your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
