Director, Patient Safety (MD)

Responsibilities

Establish expertise in medical safety assessment and peer retrospective quality control activities
Respond to medical review questions from cross-functional teams in timely manner
Collaborate on assessment and communication of suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions reports
Lead development and refinement of medical review processes, standards, and capabilities
Mentor junior staff and train new hires on adverse event report review procedures

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Completed accredited medical or surgical residency program
Minimum 4 years medical review or pharmaceutical industry experience
Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements
Excellent scientific, clinical, and analytical assessment skills
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management abilities
High attention to detail and scientific rigor

Compensation: $243,100-$314,600 base
