Location: Georgetown, TX
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Full-Time (40 Hours)
Occasional evenings and weekends required for special events.

We're hiring an Event Setup & Logistics Associate to support daily event operations at a large campus environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and being part of a team that helps create successful events, this is an excellent opportunity for you.


Every day is different as you'll assist with event setups, furniture moves, equipment transportation, and facility support while ensuring everything is organized, safe, and ready for guests.


Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down tables, chairs, stages, podiums, tents, pipe & drape, and event equipment.
• Move furniture, office equipment, computers, boxes, and other materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with conferences, meetings, ceremonies, and special events.
• Read event layouts and diagrams to ensure accurate room setups.
• Inspect rental equipment and maintain inventory records.
• Complete work orders and assist with scheduling event resources.
• Help maintain tools, vehicles, moving equipment, and event supplies.
• Perform light facility support, including replacing recycling bins and trash containers during events.
• Report maintenance issues and facility concerns.
• Assist with seasonal furniture moves and other logistics projects.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in event setup, warehouse, logistics, facilities maintenance, moving, construction labor, or general labor preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate dollies, hand trucks, moving equipment, and basic hand tools.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to read setup diagrams and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry 10-20 pounds , with occasional heavier lifting using team assistance or equipment.
• Stand and walk for 3-6 hours throughout the workday.
• Bend, stoop, twist, kneel, climb, and reach frequently.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
