Associate Attorney

The Associate Attorney plays a crucial role in supporting our Trial Attorneys in various litigation tasks and will be directly responsible for assisting in trial preparation, depositions, hearings, and other key legal activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney eager to grow their litigation experience under the mentorship and guidance of experienced Trial Attorneys. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Physical Requirements Assist with trial preparation, including preparing motions in limine (MIL's), trial briefs, jury instructions, and other trial-related documents Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, or oppositions as required Attend hearings and conferences, providing support to the Trial Attorney during these proceedings Summarize case records, depositions, and other documents to facilitate case analysis and strategy Help prepare and update timelines for ongoing cases, tracking important milestones and deadlines Assist in the preparation and updating of case summaries to ensure all relevant information is organized and readily available Complete additional assignments as directed by the Trial Attorney Maintain checklist items, to ensure proper tracking and organization All requests for coverage of depositions, hearings, and other tasks will be coordinated through the Trial Attorney to ensure manageable workloads Work closely with Trial Attorneys to gain exposure to trial work, depositions, and hearings, with guidance and oversight Trial Attorneys may assign the Associate Attorney to take or defend depositions as deemed appropriate Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school .At least 3-5 years of plaintiff side civil litigation experience preferred Strong writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Jobs
