Electrical Lab Technician

Delta Electronics (Americas) is seeking a hands‑on Electronics Lab Technician to support the development and testing of prototype power supply products. This role is focused on building, assembling, and testing hardware in a lab environment while partnering closely with engineering teams. This is an associate‑level position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, troubleshooting hardware, and supporting product development in a lab setting. Key Responsibilities Assemble and rework printed circuit boards (PCB), including surface‑mount (SMD) and through‑hole components Perform soldering and de‑soldering of electronic components Support setup and execution of lab testing for prototype power supply units Debug and troubleshoot circuit boards and hardware issues using lab equipment Operate test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies Assist with building and modifying prototype hardware, including transformer and inductor assemblies Support PCB layout updates and preparation for manufacturing (as needed) Assist with 3D printing and mechanical assembly of prototype components Document test results, observations, and support engineering analysis Required Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience) 2+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics assembly, testing, or lab support Strong soldering skills (SMD and through‑hole components) Experience working with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply) Ability to read schematics and follow technical instructions Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components Preferred Qualifications Exposure to power electronics or power supply systems Experience with PCB layout tools (Altium or similar) Experience with PCB prototyping systems Familiarity with 3D printing and mechanical assembly What We’re Looking For Hands‑on, detail‑oriented individuals who enjoy working in a lab environment Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Interest in supporting engineering teams through hardware development Work Authorization : This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
