Reporting into the Office of the CEO, this leader will act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and the broader executive team, sharpen the operating rhythm of the leadership group, and drive the strategic priorities that matter most to the business. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership to the CEO Act as a sounding board and extension of the CEO, bringing structure and outside perspective to the decisions and initiatives that carry the most weight Turn high-level strategic intent into clearly framed problems, options, and recommendations the executive team can act on Track the priorities that cut across functions, keeping the most important work moving when no single leader owns it end to end Driving the Executive Operating Rhythm Design and run the cadence of the leadership team, from how meetings are structured to how decisions get made and revisited Protect the executive team's time and focus, triaging what reaches them and routing the rest to the right owner Hold the team accountable for key results, converting discussion into decisions, owners, and deadlines that actually close Leading Cross-Functional Initiatives Take direct ownership of select strategic projects, scoping the work, aligning stakeholders, and driving it to a measurable result Build project plans that give complex, multi-team efforts clarity on goals, sequencing, and what success looks like Step in as a neutral operator where initiatives stall, unblocking progress without needing formal authority over the teams involved Communications and Executive Messaging Shape how the CEO communicates to internal and external audiences, from leadership forums and keynote moments to written correspondence Partner with the communications function to prepare the narratives, decks, and talking points that carry the CEO's priorities clearly and consistently Distill signal from meetings and analysis into concise, decision-ready summaries for the executive team Governance and Board Support Serve as a key liaison to the board, coordinating the timely preparation of accurate, on-message materials Partner with functional leaders to assemble the inputs behind board and investor updates Manage sensitive, high-visibility matters with discretion and sound judgment Culture and Organizational Alignment Partner with the People team and other leaders to reinforce culture, engagement, and alignment across the organization Serve as a connective layer between the executive team and the wider company, translating strategy into shared understanding Model the standards of collaboration, rigor, and accountability the leadership team expects of others Qualifications & Experience A background in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similarly analytically rigorous environment, with clear progression in responsibility A track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems and driving them to a clear outcome Strong project management and organizational skills, with proven ability to run multiple high-priority workstreams at once Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to produce polished, executive-ready materials such as board decks, CEO remarks, and senior correspondence High proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and modern project management tools Sound judgment with confidential and high-stakes information, and the discretion the role requires A consultative, low-ego operating style: comfortable leading through influence rather than authority, with high intellectual curiosity and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Prior exposure to technology or software companies is a plus A military or public service background is a plus Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred In-office five days per week in the Washington, DC area is required #J-18808-Ljbffr NU Advisory Partners
