Tax Manager

About the Opportunity

Our client, a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm, is currently seeking a Tax Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will be responsible for the accurate, efficient and timely preparation of client tax returns.

Responsibilities
• Perform technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations
• Delegate responsibility for larger tax returns to internal tax preparers
• Participate in practice development via referrals and community activities
• Supervisory duties include the development, coaching, training, evaluation and review of supporting

accounting staff

Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting
• 1+ year of experience supervising and directing the work of Tax Preparers and support accounting staff
• Current and valid CPA license

What We Offer
• Competitive Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000
• Work Environment: Office, Client Visits
