Position Purpose The Branch Manager leads branch operations to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. The role drives financial performance through budgeting, resource allocation, market expansion, and revenue generation while fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and safety. Key Responsibilities Implement strategic initiatives to grow the branch, align with corporate goals, and enhance market presence. Assess operations, identify improvement areas, and apply best practices to optimize processes and reduce costs. Oversee financial functions, including P&L management, financial controls, and profitability strategies. Lead sales growth by executing strategic plans, building customer relationships, and guiding the sales team to exceed goals. Commit to a customer‑focused approach, integrating high‑quality service and robust stakeholder partnerships. Champion change management by fostering innovation, adopting new technologies, and driving continuous improvement. Develop and guide a high‑performing team, promote an inclusive environment, and plan succession for sustained growth. Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards across all branch operations. Direct Manager / Direct Reports Reports directly to the regional manager and manages sales, operations, and administrative staff to achieve branch transformation and performance improvement. Travel Requirements Required to travel to oversee branch operations, conduct site visits, and attend regional meetings and training sessions. Physical Requirements Work primarily in an office, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use, with occasional movement throughout the branch. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds and travel to different branch locations and customer worksites. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of management experience (preferably in building products, roofing, or distribution). Proven record of meeting operational and sales targets. Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/software familiarity preferred. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis. Capability to implement operational best practices and drive cost reductions. Experience developing and executing sales strategies, market analysis, and customer relationship management. Ability to expand market share and drive revenue growth. Committed to continuous improvement and change management. Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and safety standards for branch operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading transformational change in branch or regional turnarounds. Advanced strategic planning and implementation skills aligned with corporate objectives. Deep understanding of market dynamics and the competitive landscape. Track record of stakeholder engagement and relationship management. Proficiency in workforce planning and development during change initiatives. Strong commitment to safety, inclusivity, and continuous learning. Project management and process optimization experience. Use of digital tools for operational and customer data analysis. High adaptability and resilience in dynamic business environments. Professional affiliations or certifications related to branch management and operations. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or equivalent industry experience. Preferred Education Master’s degree. Minimum Years Of Work Experience 5+ years of progressive management experience in distribution or building products. Certifications Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Manager (CM) are a plus. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $77,400 – $102,400 annually (varies by location, experience, and qualifications). Eligible for performance‑based bonus, commissions, profit‑sharing, car allowance, and travel reimbursement.
