Family Partner Job Title: Certified Family Partner Location: Burke - Polk and Angelina Mental Health Clinics Schedule: Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview
Burke is seeking a Certified Family Partner to serve as an active member of the Intensive Case Management/Wraparound team . This role provides peer mentoring and support to primary caregivers, helps engage families in the treatment process, and promotes self-advocacy and family empowerment. The Certified Family Partner will provide information, referrals, and non-clinical skills training; support ongoing family engagement; assist with identifying natural, non-traditional, and community-based support systems; and document all family partner services, including both face-to-face and non-face-to-face activities. This position is shared between two clinics and requires weekly travel to the Angelina County FCA clinic . Key Responsibilities

- Provide peer mentoring and support to primary caregivers
- Engage families in the treatment process
- Model and teach self-advocacy skills
- Provide information, referrals, and non-clinical skills training
- Maintain family engagement throughout services
- Assist families in identifying natural, non-traditional, and community support systems
- Accurately document all family partner services, including face-to-face and non-face-to-face activities
- Participate as an active member of the Intensive Case Management/Wraparound team
Education
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent required
- Must be a parent or primary caregiver of a child or adolescent who has successfully received at least one year of treatment for a mental health diagnosis and/or special education services
- Valid Texas Driver's License required
- Must be able to attend training and successfully test to become a Certified Family Partner
- Sight, hearing, and verbal communication skills
- Hand and finger dexterity
- Ability to walk, drive a vehicle, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be physically able to complete Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggressive Behavior (SAMA) , CPR , and First Aid training modules
- Must have a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator
- Must be willing to share stories of lived experience as a recipient of mental health services
- Must have a reliable vehicle
