This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Alexandria, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, determining their specific therapy needs and establishing effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment methodologies, including but not limited to exercise programs, manual therapy, and modalities designed to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the goals of each patient, continually reassessing and updating plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient responses and outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and the use of any necessary assistive devices to facilitate recovery.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy through ongoing education and networking, thereby contributing to personal and organizational growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists serve a diverse client base, including children, adults, and seniors. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess an active PT license in the state of Virginia.

• Proficient in using electronic documentation systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to deliver flexible, patient-centered care tailored to the varying dynamics of a rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for a variety of patient diagnoses.
• Background in providing mentorship or guidance to less experienced staff or new graduates is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
