Case Supervisor for Behavioral Supported Living Services Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full‑time Case Supervisor to work directly with the intellectually and/or developmentally disabled adults we serve in Sacramento County. This role provides supervision, training, and development for direct support staff in the field. What Is the Job? The Behavioral Case Supervisor handles nearly every aspect of our services, from administrative duties such as documentation, reporting, and ensuring agency compliance to on‑site assessments, hands‑on support for current clients, and developing and implementing plans, goals, and celebrations. The position works with people who frequently communicate through challenging behaviors, including severe physical aggression, self‑injurious behavior, and property destruction. Understanding this population is essential; experience working with individuals exhibiting such behaviors is an absolute requirement. Schedule 75% of the time spent face‑to‑face with clients; 25% for administrative tasks. On‑call Monday through Friday and a rotating on‑call weekend with other supervisors (potentially one weekend per month). Not a traditional 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. office position. Location This role is based out of our Sacramento office at 2330 Glendale Lane, Sacramento, CA 95825, but the supervisor is expected to spend the majority of the time in the field across Sacramento County. Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Minimum 1 year supervisory experience and budgetary/financial management experience. Experience managing challenging behaviors (physical aggression, self‑injury, property destruction) is required. Licensed and insured driver with a clean driving record (no excessive points, no DUIs or wet‑and‑reckless in the past 10 years). Ability to work on‑call Monday‑to‑Friday and a rotating weekend schedule.
