Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services

Overview Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full-time Case Supervisor for our Deaf Supported Living Services department. This position works directly with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled adults we serve in the Sacramento County area. The role includes ongoing supervision, training, and development for direct support staff. Job Responsibilities Provide support for a caseload of clients, developing and implementing care plans. Supervise, train, and mentor direct support staff working with clients. Meet necessary administrative requirements: documentation, auditing, training, and other reporting. Spend approximately 75% of time face‑to‑face with clients and 25% on administrative duties. Serve as first point of contact for field staff and be a constant resource for clients during the work week. Participate in a rotating on‑call weekend schedule with other supervisory team members. Schedule & Compensation The position is salaried and exempt. The role is on‑call Monday through Friday and shares a rotating on‑call weekend (potentially one weekend per month). Pay is $33.80 per hour during initial training, transitioning to $70,304 annually thereafter. Location Sacramento office (2330 Glendale Lane, Sacramento, CA 95825). The role requires presence in the field to support clients in the Sacramento County area. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience and budgetary/finance responsibility. Strong understanding of the I/DD population and its needs. Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) – a requirement for this role. Computer skills using standard electronics, databases, and written communication. Valid driver's license, licensed and insured driver with clean driving record (no excessive points, no DUIs or wet‑and‑reckless in the past 10 years).
