Work Environment

You will work onsite in an upbeat and collaborative environment, where your contributions are valued and encouraged. Our team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a cooperative atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and peer support. We treat a diverse range of patients, primarily those with private medical insurance, ensuring a steady flow of cases requiring skilled intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and establish treatment objectives.
• Manage a patient load, ensuring personalized attention with a focus on one patient per hour to optimize care delivery.
• Utilize your expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to administer effective therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility and functionality.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and fitness programs.
• Encourage patient engagement through motivational communication and education, fostering independence and self-management.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, utilizing tools like WebPT for streamlined information management.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and modify plans as necessary based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Offer education on lifestyle modifications to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, promoting long-term health and wellness.
• Provide support and mentorship to team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, you will primarily serve outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation following surgeries or accidents. Our focus is on helping each patient achieve their specific goals through individualized care and tailored rehabilitation programs, emphasizing function over medication and promoting non-surgical treatment options.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, equipping you with the skills to effectively manage treatment plans and navigate patient interactions.
• Experience working with specific orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
