Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, alongside a small team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The workplace follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients. The outpatient office setting enables therapists to work closely with patients, allowing for a hands-on approach to rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize individual patient goals and needs, creating effective treatment plans based on thorough evaluations.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, serving one patient per hour to ensure quality interactions and care.
• Deliver a variety of cost-effective treatment techniques, addressing issues such as movement dysfunction and pain management.
• Explore non-surgical alternatives to minimize medication reliance, providing holistic care focused on physical rehabilitation.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs based on evidence-based practices that meet the specific requirements of each patient.
• Serve as a motivating force for patients during their treatment journeys, instilling a sense of empowerment and achievement.
• Monitor patient progress through continuous evaluation, facilitating open communication regarding treatment outcomes.
• Document all services rendered accurately, ensuring compliance with medical standards and quality patient records.
• Participate in collaborative efforts with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, often recovering from surgeries or managing chronic conditions. Our clientele mostly comprises patients with private medical insurance seeking effective, personalized physical therapy solutions. This focus allows you to employ targeted interventions that promote recovery and enhance patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for applicants.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• No disciplinary actions should exist on your professional record.
• Strong manual therapy skills are essential for providing hands-on care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Experience with sports medicine or treating athletic injuries is a plus.
• A history of implementing evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
