Become a Key Player as a Deal Desk Analyst 3

You will help structure profitable, compliant transactions that support the organization's sales efforts and maximize revenue. You will partner closely with sales, legal, finance, order management, and other cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate deal closures and ensure policy and revenue recognition compliance. This is an onsite role in San Jose, CA, working a standard full-time schedule (5 days/week, 8 hours/day).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Manage the day-to-day deal approval process and provide first-line approvals for deals
• Meet with sales teams to identify customer business issues and structure transactions that meet both company and customer requirements
• Draft and certify customer contracts and analyze binding sales agreements
• Communicate deal value via documented business cases to cross-functional stakeholders
• Ensure transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
• Prepare in-quarter deal status updates and communications to management
• Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk
• Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements
• Experience structuring multi-element contracts (subscriptions, licenses, services, support)
• Proficiency in software revenue recognition accounting (e.g., SOP 97-2) and related standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

Pay Range

$40.32 - $50.40/hour
