Customer Service Representative

NACHI America Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Greenwood, Indiana team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, coordinating with internal teams, processing orders, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact between customers, sales, operations, and warehouse teams while helping ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. After successful completion of training and management approval, this position offers the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week . What You'll Do Customer Service & Order Management Receive and process customer orders and quotation requests via phone, email, and other communication channels. Confirm customer orders promptly and accurately. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order-related questions. Provide timely communication regarding order status, delays, backorders, and shipment updates. Quoting & Customer Support Prepare and deliver customer quotations via phone and email. Compare customer purchase orders against quotations and contract requirements. Identify and communicate discrepancies to internal stakeholders for resolution. Assist customers with stock availability, lead times, and product information. Order Coordination Verify customer requirements are complete, accurate, and properly documented. Review inventory availability and communicate reorder requirements when necessary. Generate and provide open-order reports and stock status updates. Coordinate order changes and updates with warehouse and operations teams. Support sales representatives with customer updates, inventory information, and order tracking. Administrative Responsibilities Print, post, and distribute daily invoices. File daily shipping documentation. Maintain accurate records and customer information. Assist with conflict resolution and customer issue management. Qualifications Required 2+ years of customer service, order processing, inside sales support, or administrative experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Preferred Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment. Experience using an ERP system such as: SAP Epicor Oracle Microsoft Dynamics Similar ERP platforms Experience supporting sales teams and customer accounts. Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes. Why Join NACHI?
