Production Planning Analyst II

Production Planning Analyst II Responsible for managing inventory planning for raw material through finished goods, ensuring inventory is maintained at optimal levels to meet company goals and customer requirements. Oversees and reviews demand forecast and master production schedule, reviews material requirements to ensure materials are provided according to schedule, ensures physical inventories and cycle counts are performed, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and provides input regarding the production impact of design changes, labor and/or material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Supports new product development with coordination of pilot builds and work orders, reports to the Manager – Materials Planning and is part of the Consumables Planning team located in Chaska, MN. This is an on‑site role, but eligible for a remote work arrangement with prior approval from the interview team. Responsibilities Develop production/supply plans that incorporate forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. Manage forecasts and finished goods inventory levels to maintain high levels of global on‑time delivery to customers and distribution centers. Maintain planning parameters in Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS to optimize finished‑good, subassembly, and raw material supply plans. Partner with development and new product teams for product launches. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance planning tools and improve inventory levels. Manage relationships with buyers, manufacturing leads, other finished‑goods planners, and other manufacturing sites to maintain visibility and communicate potential issues with finished‑goods supply globally. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of experience in procurement or a closely related field, or Master’s degree with 0+ years of experience. Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems: Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud preferred. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new job‑specific programs. Preferred qualifications: APICS CPIM and/or CPM certification. Experience operating in a regulated environment (FDA, GME, NCC, etc.). Previous experience with both finished goods and manufacturing planning for consumable‑type products. Benefits & Compensation The annual salary range for this role is $74,000–$90,000 annually, which may be modified in the future. This position is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
