Accounting Manager

Learn more about who we are and what we’re building: About the Role We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This client-facing role is responsible for managing a portfolio of business clients, overseeing monthly accounting engagements, reviewing financial statements, and serving as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and enjoys building long-term client relationships. In this role, you will: Manage a portfolio of business clients and serve as their primary point of contact. Review monthly and quarterly financial statements and related workpapers. Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger, and month-end close activities. Provide guidance on accounting best practices and financial reporting. Assist clients with budgeting, cash flow, and operational accounting questions. Review reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses for accuracy. Coordinate and support year-end tax and audit engagements. Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. What We're Looking For 7+ years of accounting experience required; public accounting or Client Accounting Services experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA license preferred Experience managing multiple client relationships and accounting engagements Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes Proven ability to review work, mentor team members, and manage multiple priorities Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting software Detail-oriented with a collaborative, proactive, and professional approach Why Join Aline Accounting Partners At Aline, you’ll have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, work closely with leadership, and contribute to a growing firm.
